PROFESSOR SULAIMON, ABDUL-HAMEED ADEOLA

Professor sulaimon, abdul-hameed adeola Born in August 1966, he is a native of Oyo, Oyo State. He obtained B.Sc degree in Business Administration (1990), M.Sc. in Management (1995) as well as Ph.D. in Business Administration (2009), all from University of Lagos.

He became a professor in 2016, a fellow, Institute of Classic Entrepreneurship (FCEnt)); fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM); and Associate member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (ACIPM). His  research area is Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship.With over 30 years teaching experience, he has wide administrative experience, once a PG Coordinator and Ag HOD Department of Business Administration UNILAG, Ag HOD Department of Business Administration EKSU, Ag HOD Department of Accounting EKSU, Coordinator MBA Programmes UNILAG. Two times elected by Senate as a representative on the Administrative and Technical Staff appointments Committee, he has actively served on about 25 committees/panels/boards in the University system. he has to his credit over 50 publications (National and Foreign). He successfully supervised more than 17 Ph.D students and over 190 MSc/MBA graduands and assessed more than 40 professorial candidates within and outside Nigeria. A former Managing Editor of UNILAG Journal of Business (Published twice a year consecutively for six years) and currently the Editor in Chief of Nigerian Journal of Management Studies(A Faculty Journal), He was the President of Alyusra UNILAG Cooperative Society between 2018-2022. Professor Sulaimon is the current Dean of Faculty of Management Sciences, UNILAG and happily married with Children.
