Jointly administered by the Citadel School of Government and the University of Lagos Business School, the Advanced Diploma in Public Leadership and Statecraft is a flagship nine-month programme, crafted for individuals who are not only passionate about governance but also prepared to take responsibility for shaping its future. Whether you are currently in public service, transitioning from the private sector, or emerging as a leader in civil society or politics, this programme equips you with the competencies, confidence, and community needed to make a measurable impact.
Combining rigorous academic grounding with applied strategy using case studies, this programme prepares participants to lead with clarity, integrity, and vision in today’s complex governance landscape. Over nine months, you will explore the theoretical foundations of governance, develop leadership fluency, master policy tools, and engage in simulations, dialogues, and real-world challenges that shape you into a well-rounded public leader.
By the end of the programme, you will:

 Who Should Apply: Emerging leaders, public officials, civil servants, policymakers, and professionals transitioning into governance or public leadership.
 Programme Duration: Nine months of blended academic learning and practical governance immersion.
 Tuition Fee: ₦500,000, payable in two instalments.This programme is valued at ₦4,000,000 in tuition fees. However, through the vision and generosity of the Founder, each pioneer student has been awarded a partial scholarship, reducing the tuition to ₦500,000 for the inaugural cohort.
