Taiwo Ojo is the CEO of Kish Global Consultants with global presence in Lagos, London, New York, and Johannesburg with core business competencies in the areas of Leadership, Culture, Research, Analytics and Strategy. His entire career spanned over 25 years with over 15 years consulting experience cutting across the Financial, IT & Telecoms, Non- Profit, Education, Energy and the Public Sectors having worked in GTBank, Globacom, Mobitel, Powergies Inc. and Chams Plc.
He studied Computer Science with a second- class upper division from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria with an MBA in Management from OAU Ile Ife, Nigeria and earned his doctorate degree in Strategic Leadership from the School of Business & Leadership, Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States over ten years ago.
He is privileged to have attended several executive education programmes and global seminars in Leading Product Innovation (Harvard Business School), Ideas & Public Policy (LSE), Computing Laboratory (Oxford), Turning Strategy into Action (LBS), Global Leadership (Willow Creek Association) and Leadership Development (Daystar Leadership Academy).
He is a Member of the Faculty of Management Science Board of Studies, University of Lagos, Harvard Business Review (HBS) Advisory Council and Babcock University Schools Management Board (BUSMB).
In addition to his various publications in professional and academic journals, he has authored 5 books; Motives for Leadership, Lead Global, Leadership Development Process, Leading through African Ubuntu and Ubuntu Leadership. In areas of Academic Research, Taiwo has assisted and supervised over Eighty Five (85) Masters and Thirty Seven (37) Doctoral Students graduate across universities in the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Netherlands with their dissertations and projects since 2017. Taiwo is a Global Leadership Expert, University Teacher, Author, Research Scholar, Political Strategist, Policy Shaper and an Emerging Market Specialist with major hobbies in Reading, Writing, Traveling and Lawn Tennis. He is delighted to be an active member of professional bodies such as the International Leadership Association (ILA), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and Ikoyi Club 1938.
Taiwo’s consistent dedication to leadership education is furthered demonstrated by his active involvement in the academic community serving as a Faculty Member of the University of Lagos Business School (ULBS) and a member of her Research Grant & Publication Unit and a Professor at International Leadership University (ILU), Nairobi, Kenya. He recently joined the inaugural Faculty of James Hope University, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria as a Professor of Leadership & Strategy and MIVA Open University as a Course Developer.
He currently serves on the board of five (5) companies, two schools and a creative global technology firm contributing his valuable expertise to their strategic direction. Since 2019, he has also been a Senior Scholar of the Leadership Education Members Interest Group (LEMIG) of International Leadership Association (ILA) where he continues to shape the future of leadership education across diverse cultures. Outside of his professional life, he is happily married to a Consultant Family Physician, Orobola and is a proud father of three sons; Kiisi, Kiiye and Kiitan.
