Mrs. Layide Bakare

Pastor Mrs. Olayide Bakare—affectionately known within her church community as Authentic Mrs. B—is a devoted philanthropist, educationist, and servant-leader. She serves as Deputy Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (formerly The Latter Rain Assembly), a role in which she exemplifies values-led mentorship and models a life of integrity across nations.

A passionate advocate for educational access, she is the founder of Caring Hearts Foundation, a scholarship initiative that supports indigent students and empowers those who might otherwise be deprived of educational opportunities. This reflects her deep commitment to lifting underserved communities through education.

Mrs. Bakare also lends her leadership and guidance through service on various boards, including Strong Tower and the Advisory Board of the Citadel School of Government, helping shape institutional missions and governance.

She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Lagos, grounding her philanthropic and educational vision in both academic expertise and heartfelt mission.

Married to Pastor Tunde Bakare since November 24, 1984, their union is blessed with five children.
