Bolarinde is an accomplished management executive with over 25 years of cross-functional experience, including nine years in senior executive roles and four years at board level. His expertise spans operations management, production planning & control, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, corporate sales, marketing, and human capital development.
A multifaceted professional, he combines hands-on industry experience with roles as an entrepreneur, facilitator, assessor, business mentor, and researcher. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical engineering from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria; a Postgraduate Diploma in Management; and an MBA in General Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Nigeria. Additionally, he earned a Doctoral Degree in Management Studies from the University of South Africa, specialising in Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship.
Driven by a passion for economic empowerment, Bolarinde has dedicated his career to fostering growth for individuals and society at large. In 2009, he founded BMA Consulting, a business and management consulting firm, where he serves as Managing Consultant. His global exposure through international seminars and training programmes has further enhanced his professional expertise.
With extensive experience in corporate training, he has facilitated programmes for professionals across both public and private sectors, including the Department of Home Affairs, Transport, Women’s Development, and Health. He has also trained existing and aspiring diplomats at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), as well as personnel from the South African Police Service (SAPS). Recognized for his expertise in corporate governance and leadership, he has trained commissioners at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration (CCMA), a partner with the Department of Labour, on credit-based leadership qualifications. Additionally, he has led management training engagements on leadership for Edutel, a premier South African service provider, while mentoring emerging entrepreneurs in new venture creation.
Beyond his practical engagements, Bolarinde actively contributes to academia as a published author, editorial reviewer for peer-reviewed journals, and external examiner for postgraduate students at the University of South Africa (UNISA). His ongoing role in peer-reviewing scholarly articles solidifies his reputation as a thought leader in business, management, and entrepreneurship.
