Akpan Sunday

Akpan Sunday is a First-Class graduate in Sociology from Lagos State University and serves as the Research and Evaluation Officer at Citadel School of Government, a capacity building non-governmental organisation and think tank dedicated to advancing research, academic collaboration, and capacity-building for thought leaders at the public-private sector administration. With a strong interest in research methodology, Akpan has developed specialized expertise in research and public policy, particularly in policy research methodology, and monitoring and evaluation processes which he mastered at the University of Lagos where he is Masters student of Research and Public Policy.

Akpan’s extensive training from top-tier institutions and mentorship from esteemed scholars have shaped his strategic approach to research and consultancy. At Citadel School of Government, he plays a critical role in guiding research initiatives, ensuring high-quality academic assessment and output, and fostering impactful collaboration across various program officers at Citadel School of Government.
